- Amazing Performance and Value!
I purchased the HC3R TAC PAC GEN II for use with my Ruger American Rimfire .22LR. HCMAG's communication was excellent...I saw that the item was out of stock so I emailed them late on a Saturday evening and I had a response in my inbox in the morning stating they would be building another batch of them and they would be ready to ship on Tuesday or Wednesday. So based on this response, I placed my order on Sunday and received email confirmation of my order on Monday and then shipping confirmation on Wednesday. Shipping only took a couple of business days to get here. When it arrived, it was well packaged and had no signs of wear or damage from the shipment. Everything appears to built very rugged and of great quality...I would say it is equally as good to the OEM RUGER BX-1/BX-15, BX-25 magazines which are infamous for their quality and durability.
I proceeded to load up all of the clips as well as the mag. It took less than 5 minutes to load all of them up and have the box ready with another 100 rounds.. I did practice charging the magazine after watching the video a few times. After a little practice, it became second nature and worked every time.
I was excited to try it out at the range so I packed up the Ruger and the TAC PAC and head to the outdoor range for some testing. I noticed the magazine is very tight in the magazine well but clicked into place with a positive "click" and had no slop or movement. I ended up shooting around 400 rounds that day and had zero feed or ejection errors. Reloading the magazine with the speed clips was fast and easy after practicing at home. I have nothing but good things to say about the HCMAG and the entire TAC PAC. I highly recommend this to anyone with a Ruger 10/22 or Ruger American Rimfire...or any 22LR rimfire that utilizes the Ruger magazines. It will allow you to enjoy your time out in the field shooting instead of loading magazines which is what it is all about. Don't wait...order yours now before our glorious government finds a way to make this illegal.....
- The Gen II is solid and rarely jams.
